Transmitter IR22F
Optimized for the special requirements in cold storage houses
CO2 leaks in cold storage rooms can quickly become extremely dangerous because CO2 refrigeration systems generally operate at high pressures. In the case of subcritical and transcritical systems, these are often beyond 100 bar.
The IR22F transmitter reliably monitors the CO2 concentration even under the toughest of conditions whilst also providing important safety functions.
Robust and durable
The rugged (IP65) transmitter IR22F is designed to measure carbon dioxide (CO2) at ambient temperatures down to -40 °C.
In addition, two switching outputs enable the connection of further safety measures, such as signal horns, warning lights or self-retaining alarm buttons at each measuring point. A three-colour status LED (green, yellow and red) provides information about alarms and the operating status of the transmitter.
Digital, analogue or ACDC
The IR22F is available with digital RS-485 interface and Modbus protocol or in an analogue 4-20 mA version. It is also ACDC-capable (Analogue Carrier for Digital Communication) which allows additional data to be transmitted digitally over normal 4-20 mA lines. Depending on how many transmitters and which alarm panels are connected, bus cable lengths of up to 1200 meters can be realized.
Manual alarm or alarm acknowledgement
The digital input can be used to connect a manual button for an alarm triggered by staff or for external acknowledgement of the horn.
