Transmitter CS22
For toxic and combustible gases
The Transmitter CS22 combines the proven method of chemisorption to detect combustible and toxic gases with the innovative technique of our new transmitter series 22. It sets standards for modern gas warning transmitters in terms of: durability, user friendliness and cost efficiency.
The comprehensive user menu and the versatile setting options make this transmitter series so unbelievably flexible and adaptable to all individual requirements. Precise measuring results in dry air conditions and at a relative humidity of up to 96% as well as the large dynamic measuring range from a few ppm up to 100% LEL provide for another field of applications from laboratories passing the industry up to cooling systems.
Signal processing
The spray water protected transmitter includes the complete electronic system for the signal processing and failsafe forwarding of the measurement signal to the controller. The embedded software of the CS22 linearises the measurement signal and compensates temperature influences. Thus, correct measuring values are also transmitted in case of temperature fluctuations caused by the weather. In addition, the transmitter provides the option to transfer service, maintenance and error messages to a connected gas measurement controller.
The transmitter CS22 transmits the signals either via an analogue (0.2 – 1 mA / 4 – 20 mA) current interface or a digital (RS485) Modbus interface. This provides for the universal use of the transmitter for instance in connection with gas measurement controllers of the company GfG which are being connected to a safety system so that you and your plant will always be protected at the best.
Variants for any application
CS22 with sensor, status LEDs and either an analogue or a digital interface, “Zero button” to adjust the zero point, test socket and potentiometer for the sensor calibration. In addition, the CS22 can optionally be delivered with backlit graphic display to display the current gas concentration and to visualise comprehensive service functions, operation through a membrane keypad and optical and acoustical signal transmitters. Retrofitting is possible at any time.
