About PP Melt-blown Cartridge
The Pakco filter cartridge is made from melt-blown polypropylene fibers that form a gradient filter layer, holding sediment by particle size. Ratings are 1, 5 or 10 micron (1 and 5 micron for standard cartridges, plus 10 micron for Big Blue cartridges), for coarse or fine filtration ahead of RO membranes and later filter stages. The material is virgin PP with no binders, compatible with many water types and mild chemicals.
